POSTAL III Star Celebrates Star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame!
Badger Chainsaw Rakes in Best Weapon of E3 Award!
by Bill “The Game Doctor” Kunkel
Randy Jones, the Cowboy from the legendary disco group The Village People, is back in the high life again. From becoming a good luck icon for the New York Yankees (who play footage of Randy doing the “YMCA” at appropriately inspirational game moments) to his recently announced role as the leader of a group of fabulous chopper vigilantes in next year’s POSTAL III, it’s all been coming up roses (or is that pansies?) for our favorite camp cowboy since Roy Rodgers.
Now comes news that the Randy and the Village People will be joining former Uwe Boll leading man Sir Ben Kingsley, Robert Downey Jr. and Disney’s fictional Tinkerbell, receiving their own star on the famous Hollywood Walk of Fame in events scheduled for 2009.
Other stars who rate a star with the Macho Man include Tim Burton, Hugh Jackman, Kenny "Baby Face" Edmonds and Shakira. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce's Walk of Fame Committee selects recipients who are then ratified by a board of directors.
Keep reading Postal Nation and checking gopostal.com for forthcoming announcements on other celebrities who’ve been signed to appear in POSTAL
III.
OTHER NEWS:
E3 was able to bring an improved build of POSTAL III to this year’s E3. You can see MikeJ delivering an excellent dog & pony show on the latest version of the game here.

The press, including 1up.com http://www.1up.com/do/previewPage?cId=3169048 was also im-pressed, despite the fact that the game is still obviously in the early stages of development. IGN wrote a good piece on the state of PIII you can read right here.

And EVERYBODY loved the Badger Chainsaw, especially Joystiq, which honored us with the “Weapon of the Show” award.
